Professional Pet
Services has had tremendous success
with dogs that have "Failed"
other obedience classes-(especially
the so-called "postive" treat
training) & dogs that have social
issues-dog aggression or fear. We will work on their focus
& response time before we move on
to the inter-dog issues.
The typical Behavior
Modification Program is as follows (adjusted
to meet the specific needs of you
and your dog):
Your dog will learn
to walk nicely on leash in "follower
mode"- plug in with you, so he/she
is focused on YOU, the leader, not the
environment or any of his/her triggers
(dogs, people, squirrels, etc). By the
end of Session 1, your dog will be walking
calmly next to the trainer's dog.

Your dog will walk
in a calm pack of dogs out at a quiet
location. Your dog will be allowed to
sniff/interact with the other dogs in
the pack when he/she is calm. All dogs,
including yours, will go in DOWN/STAY
after the walk.
Your dog will walk
in an excitable pack of dogs out at
a quiet location. Your dog will be allowed
more interaction with dogs. All dogs
will go in DOWN/STAY after the walk.
Your
dog will participate in a PACK WALK
in an excitable pack of dogs out at
a busy location with other random dogs
walking by. All commands will be done
in presence of the other dogs, and off
leash depending on you and your dog's
progress.

I can't thank Laurie enough for
helping me with Millie. I adopted her from a rescue
group and she'd never been socialized. Millie was so
afraid to go outside that I had to carry her out and
she would just plant on the walks. After a few training
sessions with Laurie she was walking on a leash and
starting to enjoy the outdoors. The work Laurie has
done with Millie is remarkable. I get a little emotional
just thinking about how far she's come. She's finally
going to have a good life. Thank you so much Laurie

Scooby was almost 3 1/2 when
I called on Laurie for help. See Scooby was the king
of his domain and he knew it. It was extremely
hard to control him and very rarely did he listen when
you said any commands. He was impossible to walk, even
knocking me down & sending me to the hospital once.
He had never been socialized with other dogs and was
taken away from his brothers and sisters at a crucial
interaction period in his life, therefore was very dog-aggressive.
He also had a BIG issue being off leash, like he would
just bolt and I would have to follow him around the
neighborhood until he got tired enough that I could
catch him. It was ridiculous. Now, about 6-8 weeks after
having Laurie come into my house and take control of
not only Scooby, but myself as well, it is like having
a completely different dog. I take him for walks with
my sister and her 2 dogs, which I never thought could
happen; let alone so soon. Just the other day I met
Laurie up at Bay Farm and went walking with her and
her pack of dogs. She thought Scooby was ready to be
off leash. Scooby stayed with the pack and if he got
to far away we called him and he came (he actually listened!).
It was the most amazing sight I could've seen. He was
off leash for the entire walk and every couple of minutes
he made sure to come back and check in with me and Laurie.
It was great. I can't explain the feeling you have when
you see your dog acting like a dog and hanging out with
other dogs. For 3 1/2 years I've had to run when I saw
another dog come, now we keep on walking by and if the
other dog(s) seem stable enough I will even let him
go up and say "Hello". If there is any
question whether you should ask for Laurie's help, don't.
She is truely amazing and so friendly. She
has no problem helping train you or your dog. Jodi Emanuello,

Thanks to Laurie, our little
puppy Honey is a well behaved, mild mannered, completely
adorable addition to our family. As a first time dog
owner I was in the dark about how to help Honey become
a real member of the family. We adopted her from a shelter
and she was so timid she wouldn't walk down the street-
and when she heard or saw another dog, forget about
it! But with Laurie's amazing training, after the first
session she was a different dog. So we are now a complete
family! -- Lisa Gallagher
Laurie helped me immensely in
just two training sessions with my two terriers. We
had some major issues with walking and car rides. My
dogs would FREAK out any time they saw another person
or dog. After the first session, they were like new
dogs. Both the walks & the car rides have improved
tremendously. I highly recommend her to anyone. If she
can fix my terrors, she can fix anyone's! Leila Nelson
2 y/o chocolate lab - Before
Laurie, Chace was always full of energy but walking
him, even though I wanted to, was impossible. He pulled
uncontrollably, and forget it when another dog came
into sight. He would jump, bark, lunge, and growl and
I could barely hold him, nevermind the fact I was scared
of what he would do.. it was embarrassing. I would have
to turn around and walk the other direction to avoid
this situation. Even just after the first session, I
saw a positive change in Chace. She had control over
him on leash, and taught me how to as well..and of course
remembering to breathe. Chace was soon walking by other
dogs and simply looking and walking away. And by the
second session, he was walking in a pack of 5 other
dogs. Chace improved every lesson, and before I knew
it, Laurie had Chace walking around/playing off leash
with 12 other dogs. I could not believe it.. and I never
thought I would have had this much success if you had
asked me in the beginning. But Laurie was awesome, and
absolutely worth it!!! I would refer her to anyone!!
