I wanted to include on the site a page devoted to the pets I've known (and loved!) who have passed on over the Rainbow's Bridge.
August 1, 2006
It is with great heartache that I add Zoe to this page. My best friend Kim, who beat cancer herself as a teenager, lost her precious dog Zoe today to the same disease at the young age of 8. Cancer had left Kim with compromised mobility. Her special bond with Zoe allowed her to train her as a service dog. She helped pull Kimmy in her wheelchair & would take her to work & fetch items for her. This special dog was the sweetest dog you could imagine & leaves a tremendous hole in everyone's heart who knew her...

Kimmy & Zoe as a puppy down at Nantucket- 1998. After spending the weekend with them, I decided I wanted to get a puppy too. The rest, as they say, is history.

Charlie, Uncle Bob and Me...Charlie was my dog at my grandparent's house. When I fed him under the table, he'd always nibble gently around my little fingers.

This is Hadley. He used to sit on my shoulder when I was 8 and peck at my parrot sweater..

This is my dog Bo, I had him when I was a kid.

Uncle Bob & his dog George. They were hunting buddies.

My sister, Michelle when she was a kid with Uncle Bob's dog Toby

This is my buddy Kimmy's dog Wimpy with her Dad -- Wimpy, Dad's best pal, will be greatly missed by both...MY SARAPE!!!

Rollie was my dad's family dog & died when I was little. She was named Rollie after the 101 Dalmations dog Rolly, but was female. She was photographed here doing what she loved best "rolling" around in the leaves! She was especially compassionate to my Aunt Joyce as a teenager & would comfort her whenever she was upset.
