Puppy Training & Socialization Program - $375 for 1 dog, 4 classes ($550 for 2 dogs, 6 classes)
To request training, please fill out the training application and submit it to PPS.

The program consists of four, one-on-one, hour-long sessions to be scheduled Mon-Fri 2-5pm and/or Saturdays 9am-4:30pm.

House Calls can be scheduled, Mon-Thurs 2-5pm only. Travel fee may apply.

Session 1

Your puppy will learn to walk nicely on a loose leash in "follower mode"- plugged in with you, so he is focused on YOU, the leader, not the typical environmental distractions. Puppy problems such as nipping, jumping and housebreaking will be addressed. You will learn why common advice like holding a puppy's mouth shut, turning away or saying NO is ineffective to solve nipping.

Calm well-behaved dogs of all ages and sizes will be present to help demonstrate to your dog the proper positions, as well as provide distraction & healthy socialization with stable dogs.

Session 2

Your dog will learn to follow the basic commands of COME/SIT; no jumping; and good manners; followed by play time & socialization.

Session 3

Your dog will learn to follow the DOWN-command and by the end of the session will lay down on command. He will also learn STAY - which means he will not move until released. The session will end with play time & socialization.

Session 4

You dog will learn how to off leash walk in the woods with a pack. He will master a 5 minute down/stay with running kids & dogs to play distraction!

Since Lucy was 11 weeks old, you have also trained Lucy to be a well behaved and adjusted dog.  If that constant training during your social hour every day was not reinforced by you, Lucy would not be a good member of the family and a likely nuisance. -- Chris
