Kenzie and Bonham
J & D Hi Laurie – I just wanted to let you know how great I think Terrie is. Last week when she was sitting for Jesse and Dylan, I was unfortunately home sick for 2 of those days so I got to see Terrie in action. J&D are always so worn out and relaxed when I get home but I never really saw her interacting with my dogs. Jesse and Dylan are crazy about her and the attention and care she gives them are as if they were her own dogs. She’s careful, safe and has a blast with the dogs. You've
got a great person there and I just wanted to relay my thanks and to let you know how valuable I think she is.

Terrie has lived in Halifax for 19 years with her family. She has two cats and one Dog. She adopted her two cats from the Pembroke Rescue League. After a few months of treating them like they were Dogs such as leash walks at Petco and car rides when she had to do a short errand. Although her cats loved it to a certain extent she knew she needed another Dog added to her family. Because she had had a Newfoundlander growing up and loved their gentle nature, she got Peanut her Brown Newfoundlander. Peanut is with her for almost all her walks unless the owner requests otherwise. Peanut is why Terrie started working with Professional Pet services as a dog walker. She found she enjoyed walking Peanut and meeting up with other dogs so much she needed to find a way to fit more of it into her daily life. She has been with PPS since Sept 2007 & always goes beyond the client's expectations. The clients & their doggies just love her!
We have been THRILLED with the services we have received from Terrie Wilbur, our dog walker. She has been invaluable in helping us socialize the puppies. Her dog Peanut (who goes on walks with her most days) is a great role model for the puppies (Bonham & Kenzie), and is a surrogate mom to Kenzie. Terrie treats the puppies as though they are members of her family, and the puppies just worship her! She has also been great about keeping me posted on how Kenzie and Bonham do day-to-day, reinforces what my husband and I teach them, and the progress that they make. It gives us piece of mind knowing that the puppies are being cared for during the day by someone who adores them as much as we do! Terrie is so fabulous with them, and we trust her so much, that when we travel we elect to board the puppies with her in her home, as opposed to boarding them with friends or family members.
That speaks volumes! We all just adore her, and don't know what we would do without her!
